The 28-year-old California native was spotted in London enjoying the company of Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn.
Under normal circumstances, the rumored coupling would have received considerable attention. However, its unique backstory is spilling way more ink than usual.
Two years ago, the “Paint The Town Red” singer already had Quinn, 30, on her mind. So, she did the most normal thing for her to get closer to him.

She slid in the DMs of his 17-year-old Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp, asking for help. She wanted Schnapp to be a matchmaker.
The young actor did not really want to play the part and gave her the link to Quinn’s Instagram page. However, he did not stop there and briefly talked about the matter in a now-deleted TikTok update.
Doja Cat was not pleased with the way the youngster handled the situation and more or less saw him as a “snake.” Before reaching out to Schnapp, the music sensation had also posted on Quinn’s online fan pages.
Regardless, the leak was bad for the “Say So” artist. Many commenters on social media considered that her behavior was not appropriate. The rapper and the young actor eventually made up.
He gave his version of the story in an interview with Variety. He shared: “I’m super unserious on social media and pretty goofy, so I posted that not thinking too much of it, but obviously it hurt her feelings. So, as I should, I apologized, and she was totally OK with it and was like, ‘I’m sorry how I reacted.”
Schnapp continued: “It was all good. I love her. I’m like the biggest fan of her music, and I told her that. I was like, you’re literally my role model. It’s all good. People make such a big deal out of everything when it’s on the internet, but like, in reality, it’s like a two minute thing.”
