Weeds Season 6 Episode 2:Watch Felling and Swamping Online S06E02 – Weeds season 6 episode 2 “Felling and Swamping” which was directed by Scott Ellis and written by Victoria Morrow aired on Showtime Monday night.
After “Weeds” big season opener, the pacing of the second installment was slowed down a bit. The episode picked up where things left of last week with Nancy and her family heading to Canada while poor Esteban has to answer some questions from the authorities.
Here is what occurred last night:
On the road to Canada and to their new identities the Botwins faced some hard choices.
Nancy who is mad at Silas for killing Shane, stops the car and asks him to decide if he wants to follow them or stay -and he tells her that he wants to stick with his family.
Meanwhile, the FBI had a field day interrogating a very angry Esteban about Pilar’s murder who sends his loons to go find Nancy and bring him back his son.
Here is the recap of the episode:
After hours of aimless driving, Nancy, ignoring Shane’s suggestion of hiding out in Pittsburgh, hatches a plan for the family to cross into Canada. Andy is tasked with acquiring fake IDs. Silas must decide if he’s willing to live on the lam. Elsewhere, Esteban must answer to authorities regarding Pilar’s murder and Nancy’s whereabouts.
Overall it was a decent episode that has us eager to follow the Botwin now known as the Newmans in their journey to a new life where they plan to be normal people with normal jobs (what can possibly go wrong with that idea?).
This season does not look as good as the previous ones but Silas’ state of mind and behavior have us clued to out seats-who knows what he will do next?
Here are few lines that stood out from this episode mainly from crazy Nancy:
“I’m the mother. I decide who gets clubbed. I do the clubbing.”
“I’m glad it was done, but not by you.”
“bludgeoned a woman to death. He should be chastised.”
“Don’t make me go all Pilar on your ass.”
What are your thoughts on the episode?
