True Blood Season 3 Episode 7:Watch Hitting the Ground Online S03E07 – True Blood season 3 episode called “Hitting the Ground” which was directed by Lesli Linka Glatter and written by Raelle Tucker aired last night on HBO.
It was an episode where there was blood, blood and more blood so let us dive into the red goo.
-The episode opened with Sookie rescuing Bill and finally killing Lorena who exploded into a huge ball of blood.
Sookie later fell into a coma after Bill started sucking her blood and she landed into a strange place where
people were swimming and drinking from a strange pond.
-Last night we learned that Jason will go the extra mile to find out more about Crystal .
He decided to interrogate the man aka Crystal’s cousin that he just put in prison and asked Lafayette to get him some meth to bribe the prisoner.
-Ever heard of the well known sentence, off with his head, well that is exactly what The King did last night.
After the King, Queen and Eric went back to Fangtasia to save Pam, the King used his authority to make the Magister (against his will) marry him to Sophie-Anne — and then shockingly, just sliced the man’s head off his neck which later exploded into a bomb of bloody goo.
-Meanwhile in Bon Temps, Sam saved his brother from a life of dog-fighting and released all of the captured dogs and eventually gave his parents a piece of his mind.
Here is a brief presentation of the episode:
Imperiled by Lorena (Mariana Klaveno), Sookie (Anna Paquin) goes to extremes in her attempt to save Bill (Stephen Moyer) – with unforeseen consequences. Sam (Sam Trammell) infiltrates a dogfighting ring to extricate Tommy (Marshall Allman) from his parents’ (J. Smith Cameron, Cooper Huckabee) greedy influence. Jason (Ryan Kwanten) heads to jail to uncover the truth about Crystal (Lindsay Pulsipher); Summer (Melissa Rauch) makes a home-cooked play for Hoyt’s (Jim Parrack) affections; Debbie (Brit Morgan) vows revenge on Alcide (Joe Manganiello); Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) uses Hadley (Lindsey Haun) as bait to get information from Sophie-Anne (Evan Rachel Wood); Russell (Denis O’Hare) turns his back on the Authority, and on the Magister (Zeljko Ivanek).
Overall, it was a very good episode that reminded us of Spartacus – seeing that there was so much blood and flying body parts.
The action was quick and they finally got rid of Lorena and the Mickens. Despite learning that Sookie is part fairy, we ended with another cliffhanger thanks to her scream at seeing Bill at her bed side which foretells that there is more to the story.
Here are few things that stood out from the episode:
Jason walking around shirtless while lamenting about his life.
“I never thought I was smart enough to get depressed.”
“How did you know I was Tiffany’s girl?… they match my chains.”
