The Whole Truth Episode 3: Watch Judicial Discretion Online S01E03 – The Whole Truth episode 3 called “Judicial Discretion” which was directed Rob Bailey and written by Hannah Shakespeare & Kevin J. Hynes aired this evening on ABC.
In ABC’s “The Whole Truth” third episode titled “Judicial Discretion,” we follow Judge Ruben Wright, a much loved jurist that is accused of murder. Wright chooses Jimmy to represent him in the case because he is mean but effective, and Kathryn Peale must prosecute. Wright is a distinguished member of society who claims that he is innocent, and now both lawyers must face off against one another as they often have.
Previously when they squared off, Judge Wright was on the bench, but now he is fighting for his freedom and his life.
Rob Morrow stars as Jimmy Brogan, and he does an excellent job with the role. Although the series is not all that realistic in terms of how often the two lawyers face off, it does allow the audience to see both sides of every case. Sometimes the person on trial is innocent, and other times he is guilty, but perhaps his actions were justified.
“The Whole Truth” exposes the fact that sometimes the law is not enough to cover all of the events that we see on a day to day basis. The legal drama is unlike any other that has been on television in recent years, and is very heavy on character development. Although the show is done in episodic format, there is a real feeling of progression from one episode to another as they move the slow arching, season-long storyline forward.
