Why did CBS give up on the unit? They moved it to Sunday and then it was at the mercy of any sports venue or Presidential speech. It seems to me that they wanted it to fail. With all the events taking place in todays world, I think that The Unit is an up-to-the minute snapshot of what’s happening. Is it just too expensive to produce? I am really disappointed!

This is unbelieveable. In light of what our military is going through this program gives a good and honest presentation of how our brave soldiers put their lives on the line every day for us. I am really disappointed in your inability to move it to a better time slot that would insure more viewers and success. I think you decision is based on being PC in a world that needs more kick ass. I hope FOX will pick it up like they did with 24. You people have not idea how middle America feel.

One of my favorites. I hope another network picks up.

This is another Brain dead idea of CBS I suggest everyone stop watching CBS until they put the UNIT back on. Lets show CBS who is in charge of programing.

If CBS or any other network don’t pick up the Unit for Season 5. Then they will be letting our Solder’s down. That was the best army related show on. Put it this way if yous enjoyed your freedom. Renew the Unit. The choice is yours.

I just heard today 7-15-09 that channel 24 in Milwaukee Wisconsin “my 24″ will be picking up The Unit.

Just visited the upcoming season line-up for CBS and cannot believe that they cancelled The Unit. This is ludicrous and clearly shows CBS’ liberal and the military is bad/evil point of view. Like Kathryn, I hope that Fox or USA picks up this great show.

I can’t believe they cancelled The Unit!! I was so bummed when my husband told me. It was our Sunday night adventure dinner and The Unit!! I still have hopes they will bring it back.

I am sooo upset THE UNIT is the best military style show on t.v. with it’s realistic type scenerios and the actors, the writing the scenery everything. I can’t believe it!!! Come on CBS you saw how THE UNIT fans rallied when you tried to cancel it the first time. COME ONE!!! Bring back THE UNIT!!!!!!!!!!

By far the best show on TV…Much much better then the politically correct 24!

What a bunch of morons, they are gonna control the political message to the point that we are similar to Venezuela.

What a bone head play!! One of the best shows, and one my husband and I always made time for, even when they moved it to Sunday. This would be a good one for USA to pick up. They have my other favorite shows. Is anyone with clout reading these?

I am very dissappointed in the Unit being cancelled! It was a very well written and entyertaining show. It always seemed to have a relevate theme on a current topic or issue going on in today’s world. I really hope that CBS reconsiders or either another network picks it up. On a different night and time slot i feel that it would really flourish. I am really considering giving up on cbs because they got wrong on this one…

I can’t believe CBS is showing those stupid sitcoms like How I Met Your Mother BS crap and cancelled one of the best shows on TV, The Unit. Please put it back on!! It was so realistic and entertaining too.

This was a shock to me. I watched this show since it began and thought that it was a great show and I am not in the 55 age group, I am 28. I hope that CBS will be able to bring the show back with the set cast not having to replace anyone.

What a stupid move! CBS never gave “The Unit” a chance, with moving it around, little advertising, stopping and starting it and never letting you know what was going on. If CBS wont bring it back then hopefully someone will be smart and pick it up. Thank you to all who worked on “The Unit” you gave us an excellent show.

I am shocked; no more Unit. It is a shame that CBS keeps it’s mindless drivel shows and cancels the only one I watch on their Network.

I’m so upset CBS canceled “The Unit”. My husband and I watched every Sunday, without fail. It was THE BEST show on TV. I can’t believe they keep shows like “Two and a Half Men” that spend 30 minutes discussing sex, and cancel a show that actually had substance. What a shame!

Our family looked forward to watching The Unit together. Though the writing got to far off on the wives storylines (not believable) the actual military missions were good. Made a person proud to be an American – at a time when we have a President going around and trashing the CIA, and hanging the military out to die.. Better get a touchy feely show to take its place in the current political climate or greenpeace out to destroy business..

The Unit was a wonderful show as was Without a Trace. You should be ashamed to take of good shows like the for junky shows that have taken their place.

  27. Gayle | Oct 11, 2009 | Reply

The Unit was one of the best shows on TV. The networks always cancel the good shows and leave the crappy ones on. We get so few stations since the digital change and now it’s going to be even worse.

First Jericho was cut short now The Unit. What is CBS thinking?

‘The Unit” was mine and my husbands favorite show to watch together, and we cannot believe it has been cancelled!! My husband just returned home from serving a Tour in Iraq and was praying that another season came out, but instead found out it got cancelled. Very DISAPPOINTING! ‘The Unit’ was the best TV series EVER because it allows the world today to catch a glimpse of what those soldiers do to fight for our freedom. We hope another network picks it up

My husband and I loved watching the Unit. He started and I followed watching after. Have now bought the complete set to watch from the beginning. What a shame the show is cancelled!!! I agree with other comments left why take off a good show like this and leave other programs on. We watched from Australia every week and downloaded episodes from CBS to keep uptodate. What a shame!!!

It seems CBS just doesn’t know a good thing when it is sitting right in their lap – pity for them! They continue to show some of the most riducule sitcoms ever – you know the ones where the father is an idiot and the mother is a ninny, but the smart mouthed kids know everything – BLAH!!!!!

We have been waiting 6 months for the Unit to come back on only to find out it has been cancelled. Who ever is doing the programing is uninformed. The Best show you had on your network. Get rid of the dribble on Monday to Sat. and Put back this show.

All the comments are true–Why take away a GREAT primetime show as The Unit and Without a Trace and replacing them with the MEDIUM or those silly 30 minute sitcoms during the week. Now I do like Three and Half Men and Christine, but lets get real with How I Met Your Mother,On Purpose, and The Big Bang –these are really stupid. I just think it was a mistake to remove such a good show the way the country is going today. Please put it back on for all of us. I was so disappointed to find out it wasn’t coming on and had been cancelled.

My wife and I loved this show. It had been our favorite drama for the last 3 years. I’m surprised another network didn’t pick it up.

CBS has wrecked Sunday nights. If the football games are on, every program gets pushed back. So now the next casualty will be Cold Case–another excellent show. I now don’t watch CBS ’til Cold Case comes on (If I can figure out what time it will actually start…They have all junk before it!!!) I am truly upset to have found out by visiting this site that the Unit won’t be back. Perhaps the reason the older people were watching The Unit is that the young dunderheads that are now going through our educational system couldn’t begin to be able to recognize a quality program. And CBS will sell its soul for ratings. Ethics went the way of the educational system. Glitz rather than substance reigns.

I just found out about The Unit being cancelled. I am truly upset to find this out. I have been waiting for the next season to start and I have just finished season 4. I collected all the seasons. The Unit needs to be placed back on CBS. It was the best show on CBS that I would only watch. My wife has been hooked on the show ever since I started buying the seasons.
