Few African Americans are upset because the network is always in a rush to eliminate black series “Girlfriends” and really giving a good promotional push as they do with “Gossip Girl”,”90210″ and “One Tree Hill”.My apologies to the fans of “The Game” out there,you must be pissed right now.

This is the best minority cast show ever on television. It was watched by generation. I am 60 and I could relate to it. It touched a lot of issues that affect the live of all people The writers are great there mixture of comedy and complexity of todays issues was always a great light for addressing areas common with today. This is so sad that we want change yet we don/t want to promote the things that can help us to change. Save the children. This show addresses issue a lot of young people face in all races. Sex, money, lies religion, faith racism issues that are not really addressed today. This show has such a great message. Hate to see it end

I realy love this show and I think that CW is making a really big mistake. Unfortunately, I was not watching the show when it first aired and didnt really know too much about it until bet began to show it. I am very very disappointed in the cancellation of this show. Everybody knows that when you start switching around the time slots, people don’t know how to find the show. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that CW wanted the show to fail. I come from former NFL life. My husband played in the NFL for 10 years, it was so nice to see the different variety of personalities in that cast. Some of those characters remind me of the old days. I think there is not enough black programming on the major networks today. But I see how you resurrect old shows like 90210 and Melrose Place!! Your first mistake was the cancellation of Girlfriends and now The Game. As of now I will not watch anything on CW ever again.

I think that was so stupid to cancel the game the shoe was so good .you had already did the wrong thing by taking it off the air on mondays.That was a night where people were at home relaxing .Friday nights you know people are out in about. CW reminds me of KTAL in the 80’s. They only showed one black show that stayed on for year and that was the cosby show .Don’t get me wrong the cosby show was great . But no other show (black) made it on that channel.I really hope they find someone else to pick up the show plus girlfriends needed to be able to go off the air the right way not how you did .Why not at least give the fans a final show. I am terribly upset that the CW network has chosen to cancel “The Game”. I really enjoyed this show and looked forward to watching it. The only way that we can get our voices heard is to vote with our dollars. We need to come together and boycot the companies that advertise on the CW network. The only argument that they understand is the one that deals with money. Instead of complaining, let’s stand up together and do something about this and make our voices/wants/demands known!!!

This is a shame, I started watching The Game back in 08 and fell in love with the show. There are very few if any positive tv shows with african americans where its not some type of crime investigation, or reality tv show, this was good quality TV that I could sit down and enjoy. My feelings are very hurt I loved the show and the cast and every episode was worth me sitting down and taking time out of the day to watch. I’ve purchased the first season on dvd already and I guess I will just have to wait for the other two to be released and watch them, I am really starting to think that the networks are truly judging african american shows on a higher scale because the shows that the CW choose to renew are not of any social substance, I could keep going but this is depressing, bring the show back or BET or TV ONE please pick this show up.

All you have to do was ask yourself the following questions:
#1) Was the cast of the show primarily white? #2) Was the language used on the show easy for white people to understand? #3) Did the show promote white girls who spend all day shopping? #4) Did the show promote skinny white girls trying to figure out how to exclude the 1 black member of the cast from being on the cheerleader squad? #5) Did the show center its topics around white girls that were a size 0? if you answered NO to All of the above questions then you shouldnt be surprised the show was cancelled.

Well the CW always does this to Afro-American show, but nevermind that because B.E.T. is currently trying to buy the rights to the show so that they can start on the 4th season. Even if the do get the rights they still have to try and re-sign all of the actors. This was a great show my friends and I called it a Black SoapOpera. Even though I don’t think that B.E.T will allow the 4th season to be as juicy as the previous ones I do think that it will be a great show.

I’m so upset, because this one of the best shows I have ever seen and I related to it so much because what melanie and derwin were going through wit the baby and all is the same situation me and my ex was goin through at the time. When people find sumthing they can relate to, to let them know they are not the only ones or that it can happen to anyone we cling to it and thats what I did with The Game but now I have nuthin.
