The Forgotten Cancelled? ABC TV Show Is Still Here – The Forgotten Cancelled ? Fans are wondering if ABC pulled the plug on their favorite drama.The answer thus far is no,the network has ordered 5 new episodes of the show in hopes of the series doing better ratings wise.The Forgotten’s co-executive producer KristieAnne Reedd who was really happy about the news tweeted saying:
“Very excited about the additional order of episodes for the forgotten.”

The series in which star Christian Slater Michelle Borth, Heather Stephens, Bob Stephenson, Rochelle Aytes, Anthony Carrigan, Judith Hoag, and Lily Rains follows a group of civilians who work together to find missing persons once the police have reached a dead end started off with 9.54 million viewers but had been falling since.

I Hope “THE FORGOTTEN” was not cancelled – it was a fantastic concept, I believe that there was not enough busy about it – I actually caught it on an off chance and absolutely love it – - I know this is a different channel but remember “24″ and now it is the hottest ticket in town. If it was CANCELLED I suggest that who ever owns it should probable try it on the cable station and do a marathon to see what happens – but they should not give up on this show as yet.

Love the show and I would hate to see it cancelled. We have to DVR it but we watch every week. We have not watch it from the start because we had no idea until we seen Christan on a show and he talked about it. They need to do more promo on it. I never see it advertised on TV. Great show if people only knew about it. If any of the cast ever sees this my husband and I love the acting and think all of you are great.

ADVERTISE! I’ve watched this show from the start and it is wonderful and emotional. When I talk to ppl about the show they’ve never herd of it. And when they watch it I hear back OMG I LOVED IT!
My BEST FRIEND got into a VW Bug when we were 15 and was NEVER SEEN again. The boy was a kid we went to school with and was driving her to the bus station so she could go live with her father. I wish more then anything ppl like the actors in the show where around then. I still have her school ID. Even though it’s just a show it gives ppl like me a sense of hope of closer.
ADVERTISE IT! RUN A MARATHON OF IT AND MAKE IT KNOWN THAT HEY ITS HERE!! It’s one of the best show’s on tv. A true heartfelt mystery and thriller and some episodes put me on the edge of my seat.
I’ve seen most of the bad things and ppl this world has to offer nothing shocks me anymore sadly. But this show the humanity of it. It’s just awesome! DONT CANCEL IT!

I’m really worried about “The Forgotten” continuing. After all, I’m still reeling from the cancellations of “Dirty Sexy Money”, “Boston Legal”, “Women’s Murder Club”, and “Eli Stone”, all good shows and all given the axe by someone at ABC that probably wouldn’t know a great show if it popped them on the nose. Please, powerful people at ABC, don’t cancel “The Forgotten” too!

Well, if they do show more episodes… please tell everyone you know to watch and post comments. Lets save at least one of these shows we enjoy. This one is at least based on some truth, real people doing something good in this world! I like it! I had to DVR the March 10th episode and just saw it yesterday and loved it. I’ve watched every episode since it started. This is a GREAT show and it should not be cancelled. I think there should be more promo for it. ABC please don’t cancel it.

Just wonder if comments are read and help a show to stay alive. Well anyway, just in case they do, I’d like to say how much my wife and I enjoy THE FORGOTTEN. It’s our favorite program and we love the whole cast. It seems like every other week, its not on and that’s an aggravating situation. Come On ABC, let’s not forget THE FORGOTTEN.

Some great posts here. Keep it going ABC! Intelligent plots,well scripted,well acted,terrific premise. Not well promoted though. Sort of a “Cold Case” using more likeable,fallible people. Finding Alex’s daughter could have signalled a finale. C’mon ABC-it’s a Bruckheimer show! His shows always succeed, but major networks,like teenagers, seemingly want instant gratification.

Great comment Mike!. After all, it IS a Bruckheimer. People shouldn’t be so quick to give up on a great show. If the television network truely did care about their audiences and their reviews, give the people what they want. If they cancel the “goog” stuff, people go elsewhere!!!

Was getting worried that they were going to cancel The Forgotten, especially with how it ended on the last episode. I love this show and glad to hear they are going to make 5 more episodes. It’s nice to have a decent TV program. There’s not a lot of them out there. Please don’t cancel it! I haven’t missed one week of watching the show and I always tape it if I’m going to be gone!

This is the first show in a long time that I really have enjoyed and can’t wait to see it the next week. I am so sick of the reality shows, this is a breath of fresh air. the concept of the show is breath taking and so enjoyable.
Why is it when I like a show it gets cancelled but the Bachelor, deadliest catch and others are still on? what is up? who makes these decisions?

It would be a shame to cancel the forgotten. it is such a great show. it helped a family in MO find their missing daughter because of the web site they showed during the show. she was located in another state after missing around 19 yrs as a jane doe. the show seems to me to be very helpful in actually locating the missing with the data base they have which before the show i was unaware that it existed. Pleas dont cancel. its a great show with lots of substance unlike all the reality tv and gore.

Its a good show. It was a show my 17 year old and I always watched together. I was not expecting Lucy to be found so when it happened I had to catch my breath. A lot of times we are left hanging when shows go off. The final gave you closure, but also left you wanting more. Please keep it on the air. It portrays real life and what can and does happen. Its believable, not the fantasy junk that we keep getting stuck with such as Lost, Happy Town, Life on Mars.

Evidently the 2 episodes they showed were left over from last season and they will not be bringing the show back. Basically they showed the series finale and then had episodes left to show.. Makes no sense to get someone’s hope up like that!
