Still estranged from Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) is visited by Zachariah (guest star Kurt Fuller) who continues to pressure him to fulfill his destiny and become a vessel for the archangel Michael so that he can defeat Lucifer. When Dean resists, he is thrust five years into the future to see the consequences of his decision – and a ravaged, desolate post-apocalyptic world. Also stars Misha Collins as ‘Castiel’ and also guest stars Rob Benedict as ‘Chuck Shurley.’
Last night the characters learned that every choice has a consequence.It was nice to see Zacariah’s plan was to show Dean a dismal future so he would agree to be Michael’s vessel backfired. The writers’ continuity with the Croatoan was really neat and the explanation was very useful.Do you agree that Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki’s acting was just amazing on ‘The End’?
