South Park 201 Censored:Death Threats – After receiving threats from a Muslim group earlier this week for mocking the prophet Muhammad the creators of “South Park” Matt Stone and Trey Parker decided to censor last night’s 201 episode.
The installment was reviewed a bit with the character Muhammad being referred with a “bleep” sound and his image was blocked out with the word “CENSORED” .
Additionally the episode was not available for immediate streaming because:

We apologize that South Park Studios cannot stream episode 201 at this time. After we delivered the show, and prior to broadcast, Comedy Central placed numerous additional audio bleeps throughout the episode. We do not have network approval to stream our original version of the show. We will bring you a version of 201 as soon as we can.

South Park’s parody of the Prophet Muhammed leading into a parody of self-censorship is not new to Parker and Stone, back in 2006 Comedy Central not only censored an episode they did pocking fun at the Prophet -they canceled it.
