SNL Thursday:Saturday Night Live Special - Here is what happened on “Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday” that aired on Oct. 9,on NBC.The show had a funny version of the town-hall style presidential debate at Belmont University where William Murray made an appearance.Then there was the WEEKEND UPDATE with Seth Meyers and Amy Poehler.Here is what they said:Seth Meyers:
President Bush is urging patience on the economy because recovery is going to take a while.
“The good news is he’s never been right.”
Poehler:
Sarah Palin tried to quote Madeleine Albright from a Starbucks cup and summed up her energy policy with “America runs on Dunkin.”
Although there was no Tina Fey /Sarah Palin spoof it was said a good episode.
