Shark Tank Season One Finale:Watch Episode Season 1 Episode 14 Online S01E14 – Shark Tank season one finale/ episode 114 was broadcast on ABC last night. The ideas pitched were SENDaBALL,Qubits,Pillars for Slippers,Llama Brew ,The Nubrella and the sharks did not really bite into the concepts Friday evening.Mark Burginger went swimming with the sharks Friday night, and got the bite he was hoping for.Burginger, 52, pitched his Qubits idea (educational construction toy) but was rejected by four out of five potential investors, but won the support of Damon John.Burginger received $90,000 in exchange for 51 percent of Qubits.Moving on to two very sticky sisters named Michele Kapustka and Melisa Moroko. The business partners introduced to sharks to an internet business called SENDaBALL where you can send a message to your love ones on a ball.

The ladies asked for $86,000 for a 20% stake and got turned down.Another unlucky inventor was the self proclaimed Shoe Professor Nicole Jones who owned Pillars for Slippers which was considered a show business where he went around in a pink Hummer and visited homes to sell shoes. Despite making $70,000 on the internet and $64,000 at home shoe parties, she got a big fat NO.
Continuing on the rejection road ,we fell on Aida and Phil Lough, they were selling a product called Llama Brew, that was a liquid organic fertilizer. Aida and Phil Lough who barely made $4,000 in 2009 were bold enough to ask for $125,000 for a 10% stake. The sharks did not bite.
And finally a success story with creator Alan Kaufman who invented The Nubrella, a hands-free umbrella that can handle up to 30mph of wind.Stay with us because thing got really complicated:
Kaufman asked the sharks for $200,000 for a 25% stake which they refused.
Kevin Harrington proposed $200,000 for a 65% stake, Alan said no way.
Eventually Daymond tossed the idea of going together for a 60% stake, meaning 30% each. Alan, declined and lowered it to 50% instead. After a whole lot of talking Kevin H. and Daymond accepted to have 51% of the control of the company for $200,000 with Alan still running the business.

Kaufman said of his invention:

“I just realized that the umbrella is not designed for wind and it should be aerodynamic in shape. I also said wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a hands-free umbrella?”

Nubrellas are available for $39.99.
