Rosie O’Donnell On Oprah Winfrey OWN

Get ready for a Rosie O’Donnell rebound as the outspoken comedian is teaming up with none other than the big O herself, Oprah Winfrey.

Winfrey has signed Rosie up for her own new show on Oprah’s brand new cable network OWN. O’Donnell is reportedly supposed to do 130 shows during the daytime on the network.

O’Donnell had previously been a staple and big draw on the daytime show “The View” where she got into numerous verbal fights with co-hosts and guests and was attacked from every direction.

Ironically though, after O’Donnell quit the view and fellow outspoken comedian Whoopi Goldberg took over the show, history has proven that O’Donnell’s viewpoints were on the money.

O’Donnell had questioned the official accounts of the 9/11 attacks, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and other issues the mainstream press was afraid and negligent to address until the blogosphere took over and the public flocked to the alternative news sources putting into jeopardy the mainstream newspapers, radio shows, websites, and TV programs.

With both O’Donnell and Oprah on the same network and with undoubtedly more hot celebs likely to join in, we might see the new OWN cable venue as something that will wipe out the competition.
