Obama on The View:President Barack Obama on ABC

Obama on The View:President Barack Obama on ABC – Despite being criticized for the way he handled the oil spill, it looks like Barack Obama is not all afraid to expose himself.
The president was brave enough to sit down for an interview with the ladies (Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck , Sherri Sheperd, Joy Behar and Barbara Walters ) of The View earlier today.

Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell may believe that Obama is belittling himself and the White House for going on “The View” which he compared to Jerry Springer, but the president saw it as a great way to stop sliding in the polls while connecting with the middle class housewives (who are very important on election day).

During the chit chat Obama was quizzed on light topics such as not being invited to Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky $3M wedding, Mel Gibson, Snooki, Lindsay Lohan but also talked about serious matters like the Afghan war strategy, the Afghanistan war and racism pertaining to the Agriculture Department’s Shirley Sherrod drama.

One the war he said, “If we get our mojo back over the next several months, then I am absolutely confident that we are going to be doing terrific, but we’re going to have to make some fundamental structural changes as we go along.”

On Shirley Sherrod, he added,”She deserves better than what happened last week.”
The president went on to lament on how his BlackBerry is almost pointless because his friends are afraid to send him the juicy stories.
