face it everyone… 2008 was the year of Affirmative Action! we have black prez who made comments about “typical white people” …but gosh darn it he’s gonna “unite” folks… what a wanker.
Now it appears Top Chef is about to keep up with the Jones so to speak and do exactly what FN did. We have a black woman, by my prediction, about to win this season by cooking pies and tarts and gumbo and serving carbonated kool-aid as a cocktail. Of course she’s gonna win, they’re in New Orleans” “chocolate city” and won’t we all feel so much better watching… wait for it… “the first African American winner of Top Chef”??? for god’s sake, i guess we have to get all these FIRSTS over with so we can get back to real competitions and elections and actually vote for the people who are most qualified. btw, yea… people like Barb are real good ambassadors for diversity. lovely language there woman

Nearly 200 reality-TV hopefuls showed up at Portland’s downtown Marriott last Thursday for a crack at competing on “The Next Food Network Star.” But instead of trying to elbow their way to stardom a la “Survivor,” they exchanged pleasantries like they were at an office mixer.
The room’s charismatic centerpiece, however, was Teddy Wells, an actor from Hawaii with a roaring laugh and giant shell around his neck. He’s been on “Baywatch,” “Fantasy Island” and “Lost.”
“You’d probably remember me best from my one scene in the operating room, where Ben elbowed me and I escaped,” he said of a “Lost” appearance. For five hours, men and women, young and old, switched seats to be next to him.
I’m praying that my brother makes it to New York to compete for TNFNS. I’m sure you guys will like him. He has lots to offer to the Food Network.

You are so dissapointed that Aaron won that you would insult the whole African American race. Since you have the numbers on what percentage of African american children are born to unwed mothers; do you have the numbers on what percentage of whites are on food stamps. I’d also like to know the percentage of whites that are nut jobs and go around blowing up schools. It seems your race has been plagued with hate from the beginning of time. However, they had no issues allowing black women raise their children, cook for their household and most importantly satisfy white men in bed. I think it’s something to be said about black cock, when a man will get out the bed with his white wife and walk across the way to get some goodies from a black woman. HELLO!!!! Now that’s cooking!

wow…at least chris admitted he didn’t watch the show. apparently the other people didn’t watch the show either. lisa was good but she came off a little uppity. everyday people don’t cook or eat the type of food she cooks. especially kids. she would do better on the fine living network. adam was funny, but he couldn’t cook. you gotta know when the food thoroughly cooked and unfortunately he lacked that skill. although it was hard for aaron to connect with the camera, the dude could cook hands down. his food was down to earth, dishes common folks would cook. plus he got great reviews from the judges. so much so that bobby flay said he would like to put one of his dishes in restuarant. it was innovative and delicious. even if he wouldn’t have won, that’s an honor in itself. congrats to aaron and hopefully he’ll have as much success as guy fiori has!!

i think sue and muffy are the same people.infact i believe they are a 16 year old asian dude with a low IQ who watches too much tv.Oh and im not,nor have i ever been a member of the KKK.If im going to burn a cross or hang someone or drag them from behind a pickup truck im going to do it without the bed sheets.infact if you really must know,i was rasied by Black people.My maid,nanny,butler and chef were all black and they did a great job!!LOLOLOL.Oh,what do you call a black woman who has an abortion?A crime fighter.
