Watch My Life As Liz Episodes 1 & 2 Online – My Life As Liz is a new reality show/documentary that follows Liz Lee who is a 17 year old teenager around in her home town of Burleson, Texas.Liz who is attempting to make the best of her Senior year of high school claims to be rebellious and pretty much hates all adults she encounters.My Life As Liz episode 1 called ‘Summer Of Suck’ summary is as followed.

Liz unexpectedly receives a dozen carnations from a secret admirer and goes on a mission to find out who they’re from. Was it really Bryson, that cute guy who sits behind her in English class? Hopefully she’ll manage to dodge the claws of her arch-nemesis Cori Cooper long enough to find out.
Before we get to anything,doesn’t this show reminds you of Daria? The first episodes of My Life as Liz were not exciting but they can certainly entertain you if you are bored.Rumors are flying around that the show is scripted,MTV is saying no but the whole “I do not fit into the blond group” seemed fake to us.Out of curiosity are there so many rednecks in Burleson, Texas? The show was set up, it was more improv than scripted. Taylor and Cori were not even really friends before this. Neither were Liz and the guys. Like the Valentines scene was shot sometime in the fall… tell me if you think thats real? and NO Burleson is not all redneck. Probably 75% of the high school are scene kids lol

“The show is real and not at the same time. Things that happened are real… VERY real, they people that are in this are real and the town is real. These events actually did happen and then MTV would go: That was great! Now do it and say this instead. A lot of what is shown about the town is pretty close to being real. Those homes are in the town and there is a lot of wealthy families, middle cla** and a lot of rednecks in the town.” this was a comment i found from one girl.

Honestly the events and places are real, I just don’t know if Liz is a real person and if that’s the way she acts, but it would be pretty stupid for MTV to think we are going to believe it is real. I want to make a reality show for my freshman year because I really am just like Liz, and plus the show would be real. You could tell it was fake to by just observing and watching the show!!! That’s why it seamlessly goes from the end of summer to right before Valentine’s Day.
I can’t believe no one has brought that up.
This show is about as real as Tyra’s weave. The way Liz acts and dresses is how about 80% of high schoolers do – I find it super hard to believe that in 2010, a teen is looked at as a social deviant for possessing a super-trendy Haley Williams haircut, an iPhone, a closet full of “vintage” (but purchased new a month ago at a mainstream clothing store) clothing, trendy Nike sneakers, and a Diablo Cody-lite vocabulary.
Seriously, does MTV think its viewers are so dumb that they will think Liz is the first of her kind? At this rate, it is rarer to find a girl like Taylor Terry in a high school hallway than it is to find a girl like Liz – she really is a dime a dozen.
They also need to find better fake mean girls, or at least write better scripts for them. The number of times they said “like” in the scene after the V-day dance made me cringe. No one actually talks like that.
The fact that this show exists bothers me.

One of my best friend’s has lived her whole life in Burleson, and yes, it is very country and there are alot of rednecks. Usually people from small towns are very dramatic because there’s nothing better to do than meddle in other people’s business. I think the show is not scripted but just edited like crazy.

hahaha i love how this show makes liz out to be some “different” uncool girl. First of all, she is good looking. She is cute, has a skinny body, so don’t tell me that guys don’t like her. That is ridiculous. Second of all, the way she dresses is about how 80% of the world dresses now. I don’t like believing that looks are everything, but come on. Im a senior at Burleson High School and know for a fact its scripted! None of the girls are how they act…in fact the complete opposite. They filmed this show last year and even filmed the “first day of school” several times and at different SCHOOLS! The whole drama between these kids is nothing, MTV caused it. BTW Burleson is not some red neck town woth nothing to do…it was about 10 years ago but not now. Its very annoying how fake this show really is!

You’ll see a couple interviewers of her acting the exact same way she does in the show. And there’s a video of one of the nerdy guys she always hangs out with and her messing around that’s not a video on the show. So they obviously are real friends. Sure, maybe parts of the show were scripted but if you notice during the end credits, it doesn’t mention a director. On the hills and other reality shows, it will say a directors name. But my point is, stop hating you a**holes! Its real.

You can’t blame MTV for trying to get more viewers. They obviously know what people will watch but it is a shame they won’t admit what the show really is. There is no way you can follow kids around in school or have cameras in their bedrooms and expect them to act natural. Everyone wants to be famous so they will say or agree to say whatever will create drama. Also the way Liz acts, talks and dresses has become so commonplace and anyone in high school would know that. And besides, what kind of role model is she anyway, judging people just as much as everyone she complains about and being disrepectful to adults. It’s a shame it couldn’t be real because she is actually really cute and probably could do something worthwile.

who cares if it’s fake/scripted or not… it’s an entertaining tv show. i mean, come on now, it’s on MTV; chances are it is not real at alll… but the truth of the matter is, it IS what high school is like. i would know, i’m a senior in high school right now, and to be honest this is how 99% of the people in my school act. we deal with the same drama that they deal with on the show. so like i said, why does it matter if it’s real or not. it IS however, based off of what real high school is like. so i enjoy watching it. i think it’s a cute show, especially the whole bryson/liz thing.

Hey guys im from new york so a show like this is a bit hysterical for me coming from Manhattan and all and actually mingling with the personalities of types of people that are cast on the show (the village basically), this show is heartwarming i have to give it that, its real in a sense that it shows somewhat the true nature and reality of high school, scripted yes, emotionless definitely not, and if the girl liz isnt that nice well who is in this world everyone is mean in their own way to one person or another its true the human race isnt nice no matter how much you want to believe it, honestly becoming a psychologist soon i would really like to sit down and talk to liz she seems to be pretty interesting acting or not throughout the show

yes, i think it’s scripted. most of it anyway.i think the actors may have added their own twist on what they wanted to say, but still. how could they get so many camera angles? and liz seems kind of rude in the show, like when she had to ride in the car with taylor.
and if she’s that shy or whatever to where she only has like 3 friends, then how could she be so blunt&upfront about saying mean stuff to the popular girls? and bryson!
MTV just needed a show relating to teens, and it obviously has viewers. all of you have seen it at least once to be writing about it!
i like it, but if liz is really “a bit*h in real life” like all the people that apparently went to school with her say-EVERYONE that went to school with her has said it-then it bothers me that she is acting so fake for a show!
it’s also a documentary, so maybe it’s things that happened to her in high school and she’s just acting it out as she remembers with different people.
in the previews for the show though, she said it isn’t scripted, real people, real events, blahblhablah.

Well this show has way too many situtions that seem way highly unlikly; so many parts are def. scripted. If anyone was paying close attention like i was when they went on that whole hunting trip…when taylor was about to shoot the deer they show her getting ready and she has a brown colored gun leaning on a guys right shoulder, when they made her so called shoot/ pull the trigger on the deer, she has a multi colored (the stock of the gun-the wood part for those of u that dont know guns) gun and its resting on the guys left shoulder. then liz yells “stop” and the the gun is back on the guys right shoulder with the brown colored stock/gun. and it switches back and forth in that scene.Fianlly when they ride away in the back of the pickup his has the mulit colored gun and tori is holding the brown gun? i thought that was hilarious because i bet so many people didnt see that, but when it replays then they’ll notice it.
Plus bryson is cute, why does he have such a not so cute girlfriend?? not likely.
also liz is rich, rich people are not unpopular anywhere in the world! her phone alone is worth more than my car.
maybe our high school was more conservative but i know most HS’s would not let any girls dance to beyonce’s sexy dance. i like that dance but most High Schools would think its inappropriate.
The show is not realistic, maybe some things are real, but not all the situations. they are all just too ironic all the time. and when your watching it if feels like a movie and u say “those things only happen in movies that way”
I dont think liz is a bit*h on the show, she makes me laugh, but her character is unlikly, because she stands up to cori all the time, and most outcasts from anywhere don’t have that much courage. And if they do, then they pry arnt that big of an outcast. People that dont know her shouldnt call her names because they dont know her in real life so dont pa** judgement. and these people that say they know her, dont seem very nice for calling her a bit*h so they are Hypocrites or just jealous.
last but not least sully dancing like Brian in the banana costume singing peanut butter jelly time was cla**ic and the best scene all season of the show! u know why? cuz FAMILY GUY is the sh*t and everybody likes that show.IF u dont like family guy then F U!

By the way i forgot to say, i love the buried life! that show is fun, but seems unlikely too, im sure the play boy mansion would just let a huge cake in without checking it, when everybody knows cakes that big and made out of wood are for people to jump out of them. So when the show the scene where the guys are hiding in it, in some dark place back where no people are, how’d they did they get camera shots looking the cake from the outside in the mansion, then showing them jump out saying going for it? nobody doing security saw a camera guy standing there shooting the outside of a giant cake? MTV come on! anyways i like that show reguardless of how real it is either and those guys ( 3 of em) are so hot!
