My Boys Cancelled – The cast of “My Boys”, a TBS sitcom about a tomboy and her guy friends, recently received some bad news when the TV station announced that the sitcom would not be running for a fifth season.
Unfortunately for two of the actors on the show, they had already turned down two roles on two different NBC shows (“Love Bites” and “Perfect Couples”), but TBS would not let them out of their contract, giving the cast a strong indication that they would continue on to a fifth season. Jordana Spiro and Kyle Howard both turned down the NBC roles, but now appear to be out of a job after the recent cut.
Although it seemed like TBS was going to pursue a fifth season by not allowing Spiro and Howard out of their contracts, they also moved “My Boys” to the Sunday 10 p.m. slot, which brings with it a lot of competition. Unfortunately, the ratings took a nosedive, and TBS decided that the show wouldn’t be sticking around for their fall line up.
It remains unknown as to whether or not Spiro and Howard were able to renegotiate the parts from NBC or not.*Sponsored Links*
