Modern Family Episode 5:Watch Coal Digger Online S01E05 – Modern Family Episode 5 called “Coal Digger” aired last night on ABC.The sitcom mainly focused on the Cam Show (Cam’s football past ),Luke calling Gloria a coal digger which ends her relationship with Claire and Jay’s demonstration of his insecurity regarding his looks.Here is the plot of the episode.

The whole family is invited to Jay and Gloria’s for some barbeque and football. However an earlier incident at school between Manny and Luke makes things very awkward for Gloria and Claire, and then things escalate when a not-so-flattering label is uttered.
It was a very good episode thanks to the great writing and several surprisingly sweet moments like Sofia Vergara saying the craziest of things while throwing her rainbow panties all over the place.The Cam Show was cheap,cliche,obvious but provided some much giggles,we must applaud the writers.But in order for Modern Family to pull away from other shows ,the characters need to deepen themselves and reach beyond stereotypes.
