La La Land Episode 6:La La Land Series Finale – La La Land episode 6/La La Land series finale was broadcast on Showtime this evening. The episode was written by Marc Wootton & Peter Baynham and executive produced by Mr. Wootton, Charlie Siskel & Misha Manson-Smith.Marc Wootton playing Gary Garner,Brendan Allen and Shirley Ghostman said goodbye to Los Angeles after being unleashed on an unsuspecting Hollywood crowd. But before heading back to the UK our three favorite delusional characters with weird accents victimized couple of producers, publicists, networking coaches and more one last time. Here is the summary of the episode.

As six weeks in LA come to an end, Brendan focuses on the custody battle of his estranged son Jack; Shirley attempts to rid himself of the dead celebrity spirits that have controlled his life since he was a child; and Gary is set to collaborate on a short-film with a cult film director. The stakes for each of them have never been higher, but nothing goes quite according to plan. Desperate for cash to pay his attorney’s fees, Brendan takes his first paying job in LA filming an interview with 1980’s TV star Alan Thicke – however it’s not long before the police are called. In Glendale, Shirley’s exorcism gets out of control when the spirits of Princess Diana and Colonel Sanders refuse to leave his body. And back in central LA, Gary and the director are soon arguing about whether they should pursue Gary’s plan to speculate the production budget on lottery scratch-cards. By the end of this tumultuous day, Gary, Shirley and Brendan’s lives have changed forever.

It was a good episode to watch Wootton play three different characters and attempting to prank unsuspecting real-life residents of L.A. in real situations. But it would have been great if his creations had more depths, more substance and delivered a solid comical show.Hélas ! La La Land was just a profusion of confusion that seldom entertained the viewers. However we did manage to find two scenes that stood out in this episode.
-Indie film director Tommy Wiseau ended up in a huge fight with Gary who brought scratch cards with the production money.Despite winning 6 bucks,Wiseau got really upset and reminded him that he was acting like an idiot.
-Brendan chatting with a life coach about his current custody with ex wife Suzanne.Brendan revealed that he took his five year old son Jack to the Who’s concert and passed out because he was so high. When the coach revealed that he was wrong for doing what he did, Brendan insisted that his actions were in Jack’s best interest.Jack will be able to tell his friends that he has been around drugs since he was five years old. What are your thoughts on the episode?
That’s all we have for now on La La Land Episode 6.
