Katie Holmes Jackie Kennedy TV Role – Katie Holmes is rumored to be playing Jackie Kennedy in what will be a mini-series on television that highlights President Kennedy’s life and the events that put incredible hardship on his family and on the nation. Greg Kinnear is going to play President Kennedy “JFK” in this new television drama. It will be the first scripted series that will air on the History Channel. The UK star as well as the Oscar winner Tom Wilkinson are set to take on the role of the father of JFK who’s name was Joe.


The series will be broadcast on the U.S. cable channel starting next year. The series will cover the earliest years of JFK’s life down to the beginning of his presidency up until 1963 when he was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. John F. Kennedy had many great accomplishments during his career and it will be an interesting television series to discover his family. Jackie Kennedy was considered to be a very stylish and attractive woman when she was first lady. Since the events, Jackie married a Greek man known as Aristotle Onassis. However, Jackie Kennedy died of cancer in 1994.
Katie Holmes has been married to Tom Cruise since 2006 and she appeared in the 2005 Batman Begins movie which started off the powerful Batman series which claimed its fame with “The Dark Knight.” Katie has been featured in over 128 episodes of Dawson’s Creek throughout 1998 to 2003 where she played the character named Joey Potter.
