Kate Gosselin Emmys 2010: Acting Career For Kate Gosselin? – Kate Gosselin might be the most successful reality television star of all time, but that doesn’t mean that she wants to be a reality star for the rest of her life. Even though she is not an actress, Gosselin reportedly felt very comfortable at the Emmys 2010 which is a very star-studded event. She posed with some of television’s most celebrated actors in recent years including Jon Hamm and Edie Falco, of “Mad Men” and “Sopranos” fame.
At 35 years old, Gosselin took part in Jimmy Fallon’s opening song and dance number. She said that she thought the Emmy’s would be the perfect place to network with individuals inside of the television industry while she looks to take her career to the next level.
A source has confirmed that Gosselin would like to be an actress, and is hoping to capitalize off of her reality television fame and receive a job offering. Currently she is filming her TLC reality show “Kate Plus 8,” which was formerly known as “Jon and Kate Plus 8,” but the name was changed following her divorce from her husband Jon.
Gosselin is reportedly most interested in acting in “Mad Men,” which received three Emmy’s last night. That might be a little farfetched, as the show has a huge following and is one of the most successful television shows airing right now. It might help that “Mad Men” appears on AMC and is not on a major network. She certainly could play one of the women working in the office. A small role would likely be her best fit in the beginning of her career.*Sponsored Links*
