How I Met Your Mother Season 5 Episode 7:Watch The Rough Patch Online S05E07 – CBS aired ‘How I Met Your Mother Season 5 Episode 7′ called “The Rough Patch” last night.Here is what happened.
Barney and Robin hit a rough patch in their relationship because of their constant fighting.The bickering lead to Robin losing her hair and turning old and Barney getting as fat as a whale.But when the gang fell on a porn tape called “Archisexture” that Barney made with a message on how he needed to be saved if he was ever in a bad relationship ,they decide to intervene.Marshall,Lily and Ted devised the perfect plan to break them up, calling in help from Robin’s famous friend, Alan Thicke,the old girlfriend Meg, the dirty dishes, a Storm Trooper and finally a surveillance station wagon .
The plan fails but fat Barney and zombie Robin called it quits on their own.This episode had some of the edgiest HIMYM writing since the show started.The Robin-Barney relationship only lasted seven episodes.Few things that had us rolling on the ground with laughter:
“I think Barney ate the relationship chicken.”
The fat-suits.
The wagon scene .
“What’s that nice word for selfish, again?” “Independent.”

I think that episode is great, we finally retrieve our dear barney!!! I have one question, does anyone know the name of the song that sounds at the end of the episode when barney’s back. I think it is at the 20th minute, when he says “Dady’s home”. Thank you
