Hell’s Kitchen Season 8 2010-Watch Episodes 1 & 2 Jean Philippe Not There Online S08E0102 – Hell’s Kitchen season 8 episode 1 and 2 aired this evening on the Fox Network. Gordon Ramsay knows how to turn up the heat on a reality show, and that is exactly what he did tonight. During the 2 hour season premiere he pushed the 16 chefs to the limit as they work toward the opportunity to become the next top chef at a five star restaurant LA LIVE restaurant at the JW Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles, that Gordon Ramsey will be opening up. The unscripted series is one of the hottest in recent memory, both because of how many people watch it, and because of how hot headed Gordon Ramsey can be at times.
This season featured a wide array of competitors including executive chefs, line cooks, sous chefs and a children’s camp chef’s as well as a corporate food director. They are fighting for a spot to be the head chef at the JW Marriott hotel in Los Angeles and have an opportunity to be a spokesperson for Rosemount Estate Wines.
Only the strongest chefs will be able to survive the wrath of Ramsey who routinely kicks them out of the kitchen, belittles them and attacks them in front of customers and the camera. It will be interesting to see how the new contestants react to the way that he treats them. In the past, most contestants have quickly learned that Ramsey is only being so tough because it makes for good TV and because he is offering them one of the top jobs that he has to offer in the country. Most quickly learn to keep their mouths shut and just do what he says, but a few, especially during premiere episodes have issues with that.
With no winner in the first episode Lisa was the first to leave Hell’s Kitchen and surprisingly Antonia withdrew from the competition after being hospitalized.
While in episode 2 Curtis was the second to leave Hell’s Kitchen.
On a side note:
Jean-Philippe was not fired from Hell’s Kitchen, he is unable to appear on the eighth season because he is abroad opening a new Gordon Ramsay restaurant.
