Hawaii Five-0 2010 Season Premiere: Watch Pilot Online S01E01

Hawaii Five-0 2010 Season Premiere: Watch Pilot Online S01E01 – Hawaii Five-0 pilot directed by Len Wiseman and written in part by Peter M. Lenkov aired last night on CBS.

Hawaii Five-O, the hit television series which aired from 1968-1980 is back, gracing our little screens in a revived form. Some might have been a bit wary of the remake of this show, but from the first few episodes, it seems like the new Hawaii Five-O does its best to honour the classic original.

The guns are back, and so is the chemistry of cop buddies Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams, who find themselves partnered together and fighting bad guys.

The character of Steve McGarrett is played by Alex O’Loughlin, who is native of Hawaii, hailing from Oahu. His return to his home is bittersweet, as he is arriving to bury his father, who was also a cop and was murdered in the line of duty. McGarrett makes a promise to find the murderers of his father, and bring them to justice.

Danny Willliams is played by Scott Caan, who moves to Hawaii, yet, for some inexplicable reason, wishes he was back in New Jersey. Scott Caan has a very special relationship with his daughter, in the pilot we discover that she is the reason why he moved to the island.

To help build a dynamic, the pair don’t quite trust each other at first, but as the bad guys start flying at them, they are forced into a tight partnership to see them through their trials and tribulations. A posse is built around them, to help them on their adventures, Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim), an ex-cop railroaded off the force, and Kono Kalakaua (Grace Park), who can knock you out with her looks or her right cross.

Overall, it was a pretty decent first step for this CBS new TV show, it seems to have all the good elements for it to work. The only problem is that some viewers might have difficulties diving in this universe, we will have to wait and see how the public reacts to Hawaii Five-0.
