Grey’s Anatomy season 7 episode 9 called “Slow Night, So Long” which was directed by Rob Bailey and written by Zoanne Clack aired last night on ABC.
The episode picked up where “Something’s Gotta Give” left of.The last time we saw them, their worlds had changed drastically, after declining to take part in the program, Cristina Yang decided to now enjoy the simple things in life and wanted to be “normal”.
Shepherd was so afraid of losing Meredith that he was focusing on finding a cure for Alzheimer’s,Callie had to start from zero after splitting from Arizona.
In Slow Night, So Long we learned that Derek got his grant for his clinical trial and celebrated the great news by having all the doctors -Callie, Sloan and Bailey meet him a Joe’s bar, where we were shocked to find out that Cristina was a bartender.
Meanwhile, Meredith and Alex who were working the night shift had to handle a patient who was hospitalized there years ago and was now facing post-surgical complications.
Meanwhile Teddy opened up about meeting men on the Internet- and of course Callie had few wise words of advice.
Back in the hospital Meredith convinced Dr. Stark to take a look at the patient, who they believed had gas but eventually learned that the child needed surgery.
Here is a brief recap of the episode:
Derek lands the grant he needs for his clinical trial and all the attending take him out to Joe’s Bar to celebrate, but they get a surprise when they see someone they know already at the bar. Meanwhile, Meredith and Alex have to fend for themselves during the night shift with a nine-year-old patient who’s experiencing post-surgical complications and his very pushy mother.
Another lackluster episode of Grey’s Anatomy despite the new changes that have been taking place at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital .The doctors need some real action , a new patient with a really tough case should do the job.
