Gossip Girl Season 3 Episode 8:Watch The Grandfather Part 2 Online S03E08 – Gossip Girl Season 3 Episode 8 “The Grandfather: Part 2″ aired on The CW last night.”The Grandfather: Part II” left childish things behind (well, sort of) to focus on William “Trip” Van Der Bilt III political career. As for the kiddie part Blair and Serena had another big fight that might have ended their friendship.Things got a little heated between Dan and Olivia over an interview with Jimmy Fallon. Here is the premise of the episode.

Olivia (guest star Hilary Duff) says something she regrets during her appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s (Fallon playing himself) talkshow and tries to keep Dan (Penn Badgley) from finding out. With election day around the corner, Nate (Chace Crawford) suspects his grandfather (guest star James Naughton) will stop at nothing to get Trip (guest star Aaron Tveit) elected to congress. In the midst of another feud with Serena (Blake Lively), Blair (Leighton Meester) befriends a new “it” girl and takes her to an election night party at Chuck’s (Ed Westwick) hotel, hoping to make Serena jealous.

Here are few things that stood out last night. It was a pretty slow moving episode but the little twist (the drowning guy hoax was not put together by Nate, Trip, their grandfather, nor the Buckleys but by Trip’s wife) kept it from being too boring. What in the hell happened to Chuck’s character not too long ago he was trying to date rape some girl and now he is telling his friends how to behave. What did you think of Nate taking the fall and helping Trip win the election?
Who do you think will end up in bed for next week’s threesome? What are your thoughts on this episode of Gossip Girl?
That’s all we have for now on Gossip Girl Season 3 Episode 8.
