Glee Season 2 Episode 4: Duets S02E04

Glee Season 2 Episode 4: Duets S02E04 – Glee season 2 episode 4 called “Duets” which was directed by Eric Stoltz and written by Ian Brennan aired last night on Fox.

In last week’s episode of “Glee,” titled “Grilled Cheesus,” we were taken down quite the emotional road. This week, the cast decided that things were going to be a bit more lighthearted and will have a duet challenge for us to watch. In “Duets” which featured songs like “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”,”River Deep – Mountain High” and “With You I’m Born – the members of New Directions were paired off and face off against each other in the ultimate “Glee”competition.

The song selection was fairly standard for the show. As stated above it was a nice pleasure to hear some Elton John, some Santana and a classic Tina Turner song during the competition.

We were also able to see Finn and Rachel cut the new singer, Sam, some slack by allowing her to win their matchup.
Kurt did not have a partner so he sang both portions of his duet which was “Le Jazz Hot” from Victor Victoria as the two different characters, which was pretty hilarious.
Mercedes and Santana took on “River Deep, Mountain High” and did a very good job.

Sam partnered with Quinn and did “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat and we van start speculating that it could be the start of a budding romance.

Meanwhile Rachel and Finn did “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” by Elton John and Kiki Dee and then “With You I’m Born Again” wearing a priest and a Catholic schoolgirl costume.

It was a very interesting episode that turned a number of the competitors against one another during a fierce competition and made us laugh while doing so.
“Glee” has been able to establish itself as one of the best new television shows over the course of the last two seasons, and they continue to push the envelope.

What are your thoughts on the episode?

That’s all we have for now on Glee Duets.
