“Glee” GQ Photos are creating a lot of buzz on the internet. Glee’s actors Lea Michele (Rachel Berry), Dianna Agron (Quinn Fabray) and Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson) agreed to pose in some very provocative pictures for the November 2010 issue of GQ magazine. Why the racy photos?
None one really knows because they do not need the publicity seeing that the series that airs on the Fox is a mega hit with young people between 10-30 years.
The raunchy photos have created a little scandal with a parent association that is upset by the scantily dressed actors who star in a family friendly show.
The Parents Television Council have just published a letter where they blasted the stars saying:
“It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on ‘Glee’ in this way. It borders on pedophilia. By authorizing this kind of near-pornographic display, the creators of the program have established their intentions on the show’s direction. And it isn’t good for families.”
GQ did not take it laying down and rapidly answered back with their own statement that read:
“The Parents Television Council must not be watching much TV these days and should learn to divide reality from fantasy,” Jim Nelson, editor-in-chief of GQ, said. “As often happens in Hollywood, these ‘kids’ are in their twenties. Cory Montieth’s almost 30! I think they’re old enough to do what they want.”
