Glee Episode 9:Watch Wheels Online S01E09 – Glee Episode 9 called “Wheels” aired last night on FOX.The episode put the spotlight on Artie who finds out that due to budget cut backs his school can not afford to buy a handi-capable bus that’s able to transport him along with the rest of Glee to Sectionals.So Principal Figgins proposes a bake sale to raise money and believe it or not they sell $1,200 worth of cupcakes.Meanwhile Will persuads the kids to be in wheel chairs for three hours a day so they can understand Artie’s predicament.Puck saves Quinn who is drowning under bills by giving her $685 to pay for a sonogram.The final big piece to this episode consisted of a very touching exchange between Kurt and his father where he said:

“When I saw you, right after you got that call. And you were so hurt and so upset. It just killed me. I’m not saying I’m going to hide in the closet. I’m proud of who I am. I’m just saying that I love you more than being a star.”
“Wheels” ended with a remarkable wheelchair number to Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Proud Mary.” Overall ,our feeling on this episode is that it was really good but needed more singing ,more performance numbers and less drama to be considered great.Here are few things that stood out:
-The Kurt/Rachel sing off for “Defying Gravity” from “Wicked”.
-Tina’s revelation to Artie after she kisses him.
-”We’ve got homework and football and teen pregnancy and … lunch.”
- “My family is fully committed to takeout.”
