Dancing With The Stars Vote Week 2 – DWTS Season 11 Episode 2 2010 – The second week of “Dancing With the Stars” was a good one with Sarah Palin made an appearance and complimented her daughter Bristol and everyone else by saying:
“This is amazing.It’s so exciting. And it’s great to see all this courage and joy and exuberance by every dancer. It’s awesome.”
A number of the contestants picked songs and dances that went against the grain. This week, all of the competitors will either be dancing the jive or the quickstep in an attempt to impress the judges and the audience. These are fairly tough dances, and it will be interesting to see who is able to master them.
Last week, David Hasselhoff and Kym Johnson left the program, leaving us with an odd number of couples this week. Five couples will jive this week, while six of them will be performing the quickstep. The songs that they chose will range greatly from pop-friendly songs that suit the dances, to more laid back, smoother material.
Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskava danced the jive to “Danger Zone,” wearing suits and sunglasses and scored cored 21/30
Meanwhile, Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas performed the quickstep to “you Can’t Hurry Love” and scored 23/30.
Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy danced jive to “Magic,” and really slipped from last week scoring only 21/30.
Meanwhile Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough danced to “Shake it ” and are still the highest scorer with 24 points.
Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke took on the jive to “Tush,” and landed with 21/30.
And Florence Henderson and corky Ballas danced the quickstep to “Something I See.” and got scored 19/30.
Margaret Cho scored 18/30, Kyle Massey scored 22/30, Audrina Patridge scored 23/30 and The Situation scored 18/30.
All of the songs had different paces and flavors which mad the night very interesting and funny sometimes.
