Criminal Minds Season 6 Episode 4: Watch Remembrance Of Things Past Online S06E04 – Criminal Minds season 6 episode 4 called “Remembrance of Things Past” which was directed by Glenn Kershaw and written by Janine Sherman Barrois aired last night on CBS.

In the newest episode of “Criminal Minds,” the team explores the idea of a serial killer having Alzheimer’s which made a very interesting and sad case. In the episode, Rossi starts to investigate a string of murders that have taken place. Upon further inspection, Rossi notices that the murders are strikingly similar to those of a killer that he chased over 25 years ago. When Rossi got close to catching him, the killer stopped killing, never to be heard from again. Until now, at least.

Daniel J. Travanti guest starred as the killer in Bristol, Virginia. As he has moved on in age, he has developed Alzheimer’s and is repeating his murders because he cannot remember committing them. With Alzheimer’s being such a public problem in this day and age, it is an interesting take on the disease.

Because of the killer’s condition, it was difficult for Rossi to be satisfied with the cracking of the case-who wants to arrest an old man who is peeing in his undergarment while talking to authorities?

The killer obviously does not remember that he committed the murders previously, and has a hard time remembering the details of his most recent murders but finding out that he used his own son to hunt young women was pretty pathetic. But discovering that one of his first victims was his wife was jut awful.
Now for the big question becomes; as viewers do have sympathy for the killer? He has spent a good portion of his life murdering those around him, but now that he is old, frail, and losing his mind,do feel for him? Probably not, but it did provide an interesting dynamic for the episode.
