Conan Ratings: Conan O’Brien New Show Starts Strong – Conan O’Brien debuted his new late night talk show simply titled ‘Conan’ last night. The format of the show seemed very standard and pretty much the same format as other talk shows. However, the talk show host did have something pretty cool to reveal the audience, an image of the moon on a big screen that could be moved around the screen by a remote control. Well, that’s one thing that most other talk show hosts can’t say that they have too!
The talk show host also stated that this was the only talk show with a view of the ocean, and also added that they were the only talk show that could offer the scent of the ocean air. There were several guests on the brand new show offering entertainment, and Conan himself was actually pretty entertaining too. His last show, ‘The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien’ was not as popular as many had anticipated, and only made seven months on air before it was stopped.
But this time around “Conan” on TBS has hit the jackpot by getting 4.2 million viewers.
Conan O’Brien was able to beat both of his former rivals in the 18-49 demo, Jay Leno’s “Tonight Show,”
finished second with 3.5 million viewers and David Letterman’s “Late Show” was last with 3.4 million viewers.
