Conan O’Brien Announces Name Of New TBS TV Show: Conan

Conan O’Brien Announces Name Of New TBS TV Show: Conan – Conan O’Brien recently revealed the name for his new late-night television show, causing a small uproar at his intelligence. The television host posted a video to TBS, the new host of his show, and joked with the audience about the amount of media speculation that had surrounded his decision. He then pulled out a piece of paper, and wrote out the show’s new title: Conan.

Many find the name decision to be a brilliant marketing opportunity, as he is the first late night host to actually use just his name as the show’s title. Using his own name ensures that his fans will always get the title of his show correct, and it puts all of the focus right on O’Brien. This ensures that the public knows that he is able to carry a show all on his own.

After O’Brien made the announcement, he told the audience the new start date of the show, jokingly forgetting when that actually was. Someone off-camera reminded him that the new season of Conan airs on November 8, 2010 and is being hosted on TBS.
Many fans are looking forward to seeing what, exactly, the now-infamous television show has planned.
