Chuck Cancelled:NBC Chuck
Chuck Cancelled:NBC Chuck – Chuck cancelled? NBC will or maybe will not cancelled “Chuck”.Josh Schwartz, a creator and executive producer of the NBC series “Chuck.” was asked:as of this moment, do you know where “Chuck” stands? Josh Schwartz replied:

Sitting here today, I do not know. Which is a tricky place to be, emotionally. The last two episodes are certainly the best that we’ve done, and I feel like the whole season has been building. To feel this coalescing of the inter-Web forces, in support of the show, has been really remarkable.
Rumors claimed that Chuck has been renewed but the network has yet to confirm.
That’s all we have for now on Chuck Cancelled:NBC Chuck.

I like Chuck. But I’m so tired of American tv waiting until the show jumps every possible shark in the tank. Heros? Ho hum for years. Same with the now insanely boring Lost. For god’s sake, just write a story, tell it, and end it already.
As long as the ending is satisfying, I’ll be happy to see the actors in their next things.

Chuck is an original. Naturally, it will be cancelled by a network who has forgotten why people watch TV.
They watch ‘reality’ shows because they don’t want their imaginations taxed. They love “Dancing With The Stars” because they are told that they like it! They watch “Survivor” because……Well, I’m still trying to figure that one out.
Chuck is done with great imagination and talent by all involved. Writers are employed by this show! Actors who portray larger than ‘reality’ characters are also working there.
I hate to predict this, but someday, as in Farenheit 451, the fictional shows on TV will be interactive and not any better than ‘reality’ shows.
Chuck deservers to get another season, if Season 2′s cliffhanger is any indication. If they planned to scrap the show, they shouldn’t have put the ‘To Be Continued’ at the end. I look forward to Season 3 now. I hope NBC sticks with Chuck.
Imagine, if you will, the network that cancelled the soon to be billion dollar franchise show Star Trek, continuing a show just because it is good.
If only…….
I think the guy who cancelled Star Trek, died in a gutter somewhere, clutching a bottle of Boone’s Farm wine.
Do you really want to be the finger on the button of that mistake?

After the season finale, this show better not be canceled. I was out of my seat. It could not have had a better ending…unless it is the end, then it sucks! I have been a faithful watcher of this show and have been through the awful moment of seeing a great show canceled over and over again. This better not be added to the list.

i am despretly seeking conformation. The main NBC page for chuck now says SERIES FINALE. Someoen tell me this is a typo!!

Cheuck is one of the few shows that the whole family can watch together. It is entertaining and funny. It actually makes us want to watch TV. Of course they will cancel it, but these trashy reality shows go on and on and on and on. Get my point? What a great season ending. Hopefully they will keep it on.

It’s rare to have such a good show on TV. It makes sense they cancel it. GOOD shows never win over trash TV…. that’s why I think I’ll give up on shows and just watch sports and news… (*reality TV SUCKS!!!)

i have been watching Chuck from day one, and i feel that the show is very refreshing, and simply great. All the characters are great,(lol…. THE BUY MORE) I love it. I really like the love twist between Chuck and Sarah. As for the other characters they are all perfect. This is a perfect cast. This could be a 10 season show… I think Adam Baldwin is great, i think he is a key player in the story, even if he is kind of super-heroish his character in Chuck reminds me of his character in firefly.(Another great show cancelled.). This show is so original. I cant wait for Mondays to roll around. I really like this show, i pleed that it is not cancelled. Technically it could be The Matrix the TV show with the finale. The Season Finale was amazing. Hang in there CHUCK ill be counting on ya..lol.
Cancel MEDIUM if anything, that should save some cash. What a disaster.

What a terrific combination of action, humor, suspense, a little romance, and great actors this show has!!! Please don’t cancel it!!! It’s finally a prime-time show that the whole family can watch with just what it takes to keep everyone, in every age group, engaged in the story and the plot. Please NBC, make the right call and keep CHUCK on the air!!!

Chuck is the best TV show out there right now. I’m on board, cancel Medium before you cancel Chuck. Medium is dark and violent, whereas Chuck is intruiging, entertaining, funny, dramatic, romantic… I could go on and on. Like others have said, it is something the whole family can watch. And, it actually involvles TALENT!! (unlike those crappy reality shows … they are more like watching car wreck!)

Keep Chuck or move it to USA network with all the other good shows on TV: like Burn Notice, House, Monk and Psyc. But if they (NBC) stay true to its past history as of late, this show will go the way of Nashville Star and NBC will make it go away. That will be sad. And I will have to cry boy cot all NBC advertisers. Join me in this, write, call, e-mail, picket, and every NBC advertiser or better yet stop buying from them. I think NBC Under estimates how many families watch Chuck and how much money we spend.

Chuck Is fresh and funny and exciting, a reason to watch network tv! Please don’t assume we all watch “Dancing” shows. Keep Chuck alive…don’t let him go the way of Keen Eddie. (another quirky, fresh, original show)

We need Chuck!!! But if NBC follows it’s pattern, Chuck will be cancelled. I shy away from new shows on NBC because they cancel so fast. I agree with Brad, move Chuck to USA Network where it will at least have a chance.

There isn’t much I can say here that hasn’t already been said. However, I must stand and fight with these people to save Chuck. I, like most people, hum drum through the monotony of my work week. But the one show that lights up my whole week, is on Monday night at 8 PM. I wait all week long to get another dose of Chuck and by Thursday and Friday I am really jones-ing hard to get my next fix. When I get to the end of my Monday night episode, I am always itching for more. There is no reason why this show should go by the wayside. It is written incredibly well for the type of show that it is. Before Chuck ever came on, when I first saw the preview, I remember saying to myself, “This is going to be stupid.” But after watching just “1″ episode, I was HOOKED. This show has defied all the odds by having an enormously great cast, fantastic writing, and manages to maintain some form of wit and edgy-ness while still keeping things clean enough for families to be able to watch it. It is SO engaging that groups of friends and co-workers of mine all can’t wait to call eachother on Tuesday and talk about last night’s episode and what we think will happen next. If NBC reads these things at all, they should understand that there are LOTS of people who watch and love Chuck, who will NEVER write here, because they think it’s stupid, or think it’s gay or don’t know where to write. But when and if they decide that it’s not meant for their network, I would have to agree that they should move it to USA, a network I watch FAR MORE FREQUENTLY than NBC. Please don’t disappoint the hundreds of thousands of people who count on this show being there for them every monday.
P.S.-REALITY TV SUCKS. I hate Dancing with the Stars, I hate Big Brother, I hate Survivor, The Biggest Loser, Deal or No Deal, The Apprentice, America’s Got Talent, etc., etc., etc. And of course, even as a musician, the show I LOATHE MOST OF ALL HAS TO BE American Idol. I will never watch any of these shows or anything like them.(and I say this with all honesty, not just to be pissy over the possible cancelling of Chuck)
Nels | May 16, 2009 | Reply
The show CHUCK is undoubtedly the best television program in the recent past few years. The consideration of canceling the show is disheartening.
I have been a regular viewer since the pilot. I look forward to Monday’s for one reason and that happens to be CHUCK. My entire family watches this show.
The characters are great along with the actors respectively. I believe this show has longevity if given the opportunity.
KEEP CHUCK ON!!!

If they get rid of chuck I’m out. Their crappy advertising of it originally left the show hanging out the dry. I just discovered this show and I’m hooked – couldn’t be more excited about it… and now it’s off the air?
The production team – writers, actors, supporting cast – all are doing a great job and just getting better. I wonder why CBS beats them down all the time…

I did not get into CHUCK until the first season was over and NBC was showing the re-runs. I flipped the channel and heard Bartowski, I thought they said my last name Borkowski (which isn’t a common name) so I continued to watch to see if I heard correctly. During that time I saw Sarah Walker and was thinking I need to keep watching this show. This show continues to make me laugh and has the perfect amount of sex appeal. The writers are doing a great job and I truly hope they get to continue to do so. If not NBC I hope another station would pick up the series. By the way I went out and picked up CHUCK SEASON ONE and absolutely loved it! KEEP CHUCK ALIVE 2009! Thanks!

Nothing amuses an audience as much as watching an underdog defeat the big guy. Chuck does this every week in his own quirky way. I am constantly entertained by the wide range of characters on this show. Morgan, Jeff, Casey all have their own demons that we have yet to uncover. PLEASE keep the show going. There isn’t much appealing to watch on TV. Reality TV is so boring, I have to watch it everyday in real life why would I choose to spend my precious spare time having to relive some of people’s worst behaviors???? I don’t know how people find reality TV entertaining. I guess the big TV networks really have to dumb down entertainment for the masses. Or is it just cheaper to produce and that is why it is crammed down our throats??
Steve | May 23, 2009 | Reply
Maybe you should cancel Chuck and use the slot to put on a reality show about kids who work at Buy More or a frozen yogurt stand but instead of yogurt everyone is secretly served pig insides in a cone. God knows we need more reality TV. Or maybe put on a washed up comedian for an hour every night of the week and use up 5 hours of prime time with the old tired talk show format instead of inovative shows like Chuck.
Needless to say I would be very dissapointed with NBC if they canned Chuck because I know whatever they replace it with will be lame.

I watch “The Office”, “Chuck” – and reruns of “Seinfield” sometimes. Creative writing and good chemistry all around. Fun to watch! Chuck is a diamond in the rough. May not be as big a money maker as the other two shows mentioned, but has lots of potential. You really need to do a better job marketing “Chuck”. I found it by accident, but am happy that I did. I’m in total agreement with the negative comments about reality tv too. It’s not what I’m looking for. I get enough “reality” each day. Programs that are serious are a bummer. I want real entertainment and that takes creativity. Then there’s the crap that should be rated “R” and should not be on network tv. It is trash. I hate those trashy commercials too. It’s sad. Now, there is certainly a market for Chuck. I want to encourage NBC to make an effort as well as a commitment to “Chuck”. Be courageous and do this – for the right reasons, and be creative in reaching this unique show’s potential viewers.

I hope they don’t cancel Chuck. Like the idiots over at Fox who cancelled Firefly, Chuck seems as if it will suffer the same fate. Of course the networks are going to keep airing these dull and trite reality shows. Why not? They are nothing but cash cows. No actors to pay or writers whining about pay or credit for their work. Nothing but profits from advertisers. At the end of which most of the idiots who participate in these debacles get nothing but their faces on TV and the actual winner might get $50,000. A drop in the bucket compared to what they make from ads. As long as people care more about the minutia of other people’s lives they Reality TV will go on. But, for all that is holy, please leave the rest of us something to take our minds off of our own worries (and other people’s as well) and keep Chuck around and finish the story we all want to see played out. Give us at least one night of something entertaining.

What can we do to save the show. 35 comments here won’t do it. Who do we write. The cliff hanger for the last episode would require a total rewrite of the show going forward; the Buy More gang would have to go in favor of Chuck becoming a real spy, even if a reluctant one but still, I think it would work

You know if any shows should be cancelled why not start with the damn reality shows:
SURVIVOR has run its course,
AMERICAN IDOL is a joke, has anyone heard from Taylor Hicks??,
DANCING WITH THE STARS, how many times do we have to hear the judges rip apart the stars who can’t even dance,
JERSEY SHORE is the worst bunch of so called reality actors I’ve ever seen, can you say oompah loompah’s,
WTH and even now all I am seeing on TV is stinking repeats, pretty soon all we will be watching is stupid a$$ reality shows.
Chuck is an awesome show.

Chuck is one of the best shows on TV today maybe even the best. All you keep doing is having reality shows because it is cheap for you to make. You don’t give a damn about your viewers. I know TV is all about making the money but if your clients the viewers are not happy and stop watching then you won’t be making any money at all!!!! Don’t cancel Chuck. It is one of the few good shows you have on. There are only two good shows on on Monday, Chuck and Castle. Don’t mess it up. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The last Chuck that was on was May 24th 2010. So, my question is when will it be back on? I like so many people on this site are waiting to know the answer to this question. NBC is not paying attention to what people really want…example they pushed out Conan O’Brien and brought back that wierdo with the long chin. Leno…I have stopped watching NBC late night…now they have cancelled Bonnie Hunt (yes I work)and have been recording her for several years…the last show I watch on NBC is Chuck…and look what they have done with him…NOW they have lost me all together… they must be really proud of themselves they have figured out how to lose viewers…way to go idiots!!!
