Caprica Episode 2:Watch Rebirth Online S01E02 – Caprica season 1 ,episode 2 called “Rebirth” written by Mark Verheiden was broadcast on SyFy last night.“Rebirth” focused on the aftermath of the terrorist bombing and on introducing Daniel’s daughter/creation Zoe-Robot/Zobot who is part Zoe (Alessandra Torresani still wearing that purple dress), part avatar and part robot. With the camera constantly switching between showing her lumbering Cylon body and her Avatar-Zoe body, with Alessandra Torresani ,we learned that Zoe’s avatar-self had managed to become fully conscious inside one of her father’s Cylons. (But would only work in one, whenever Daniel’s assistants put her chip into the other robots, it/she would stop working). Amanda Graystone who is grieving by denying everything dropped a bomb at the memorial by announcing (incorrectly) that Zoe was responsible for what happened on the train, saying to the MagLev victims:

“My daughter was a terrorist, I’m sorry.”

Can you imagine the consequences this confession will have on Daniel’s government contract? Moving on to the surprises that Sister Clarice had for us:
-Sister Clarice is part of a group marriage: “These are my wives: Mabeth, Helena, Desiree Willow; we use her surname. And these are my husbands: Nestor, Tanner, Olaf, and Roshan.”
-The youngest husband Nestor, played by Scott Porter, aka Nick Streets from Friday Night Lights served as a weapon to seduce Lacy .
Overall, though, this episode was excellent giving a plausible explanation as to why the events in the pilot occurred.

Here are few what some may call philosophical quotes from this episode:
-“There are bits of software you use everyday that were written decades ago. You write a great program and it can outlive you. It’s like a work of art… maybe her work will live on.”
-“I need privacy, a smoker, and two grams of Purple,”
-“We create life, and then one day, we have to face who they are. What they become and what they do.”
-“I don’t really know what it is that I’m missing. My daughter had a whole life and a boyfriend that I knew nothing about. Looking back, I think that she only showed me what she wanted me to see.”
What are your thoughts on the episode?
That’s all we have for now on Caprica season 1 episode 2.
