It looks like not everyone found comedian Bill Maher as funny as he might have hoped during the live broadcast of his show “Real Time with Bill Maher” that aired on Friday night, February 18.
Maher had Kevin Smith, Tavis Smiley, and two political experts on his show, and all were discussing the way that women in Muslim countries, especially Egypt, were treated by society.
However, the conversation was interrupted when an audience member began yelling at Maher. Although the guests attempted to make light of the situation, the angry man did not calm down and continued to yell at the security guards who attempted to calm him down.
As the man was asked to leave the building, he began accosting the guards, saying, “Do not touch me; that’s battery…I will leave of my own accord.”
However, he then continued to scream at Maher, and it appeared that he had been highly offended by a remark the comedian had made on a previous show about the terrorist attacks that occurred on 9/11 (a truther).
Maher seemed to take it all in stride, saying, “That went better in rehearsals. I once had to go into that crowd and throw a guy out myself—and I think I might have to do it again.”*Sponsored Links*
