One of the most gruesome and disturbing scenes from the upcoming Lifetime movie “The Amanda Knox Story” was cut due to complaints from the real victim’s family.
They said that the scene was too graphic and needed to be removed from the film entirely.
The plot of the film centers on the stabbing of British student Meredith Kercher in Perugia, Italy in 2007. Both Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito were accused of sexually assaulting and killing Meredith Kercher who was only 21-years-old at the time of her death.
Rudy Guede was also one of the men who were convicted in connection with the murder and sexual assault.
In the scene which was due to appear in the film but was ultimately left out depicted the girl wearing a grey bra and jeans being held down by her assailants and stabbed three times.
The Daily News got a review copy of the movie and the murder scene consisted of a series of black and white flashbacks, apparently all too real for the family of the girl who was actually killed back in November of 2007.*Sponsored Links*
