24 Season 8 Episode 11:Watch Day 8: 2:00AM – 3:00AM Online S08E11 – 24 season 8 episode 11 called “Day 8: 2:00AM – 3:00AM” which was directed by Nelson McCormick and written by Evan Katz & David Fury was broadcast on FOX last night. In this week’s episode Kiefer Sutherland playing Jack Bauer proved that he has evolved as a character ,he is a bit older,wiser and slower compared to last season.
When faced with a terrorist- Marcos, who is half-American/ half-Kamistanian, and who was tapped by the group IRK to explode a dirty bomb in New York ,instead of just killing him ,Jack Bauer actually tried reasoning with him by bringing in his mother played by Mare Winningham.
Despite the fact that CTU successfully disabled Marcos’ bomb,the terrorists who employed him killed the confused kid by detonating his bomb from afar.
The subplots dealt with the Hassan’s family never ending soap opera:
Omar’s daughter Kayla went at it with Tarin Faroush,Omar went at it with his wife while all the wife wanted was to protect her child.

Speaking of soap operas, the other absurd subplot involving Cole and Dana took a new twist: when the duo returned to CTU after killing her ex-boyfriend Kevin,Dana was demoted and was forced to talk to Kevin’s parole officer.Here is the synopsis of the episode:

It was just another average episode of 24 which could have been excellent if the writers focused more on Jack trying to save N.Y. instead of concentrating on the Kevin/Dana drama that is seriously starting to test our patience.What are your thoughts on the episode?
